Mio mivue 618 help

Hi all.
I've just purchased a mio mivue 618 after the eprance committed suicide.

Just road tested the new dash cam today and viewed the footage but can't seem to get any volume from my pc even though it's on.
Also has anybody an idea how I change KPH to MPH as I've looked through the menu and can't find any setting.

I find my Mio 5-series cams don't give sound through certain media players and sound can be lost through certain video editors.
You'll get sound if you use Mio's own software ('MiVue Manager') and Quick Time Player.

I'll have a look at my Mio cams tomorrow to see where in the menus mph/kph can be changed.

Thanks. I`ve just realised how to change to MPH. System-distance unit then change from metric to imperial.

Just updated the safety cams due to a long drive tomorrow so happy with that. The MiVue Manager keeps on telling me that "windows isnt working properly" and keeps closing the page so i`m non the wiser how to play videos through that system. Windows media player is also crashing so i`m resorting to playing files through my PC.
Although its fine doing it that way i`d rather use the Manager.

I just checked and sound is also present in VLC media player.
