I was told after the upgrade from 2015 to 2016 my A118C will have future called time-lapse.

Below are some new futures on A118.20160130... I do see Motion Sensitivity, do not see Time Lapse, do not see Auto Restart... Auto Power Off is still on my unit.

• In addition to motion detection another selection will be Motion Sensitivity and the choices are low-medium-high.
  
  
• New is Time Lapse which they call Timer Lapse. Here you can have all kinds of fun. The time choices are as follows:
  
  200ms 1 sec 2 sec 5 sec 10 sec 30 sec 1 min 5 min 10 min
  
  
• Auto Power Off is now called Auto Restart and the choices remain the same, OFF - 1min - 3min - 5min.

I just received a Viofo A118C2 yesterday (for other car in the family), does it use the same firmware as the A118C? I think my version is 20161006.

Try turning it on with no memory card. If that works, try a different card.

kartsız denedim çalışmadı,sorun aynen devam ediyor,yedek parça bulabileceğimiz bir yer varmı.teşekkürler.

You might be able to buy parts from @viofo but the camera is so cheap you should probably just buy a new one instead. Or upgrade to the a119.
