I set up a new dashcam and I am trying to change the password on my WiFi DR650S-2CH IR and when I go to firmware settings, it just says "offline. Please check the network connection of the camera", but I have full bars on the camera and a good connection on my own WiFi as well so idk where else to check and what is causing this. Does anyone know? I have already downloaded the newest fireware for this camera type so idk what else is missing.

Go into firmware settings where? You either need to use an iThing or Android app to connect directly to the WiFi node in the camera, or get the whole Cloud thing working and use the Windows app to connect ... via the cloud ... to the camera.
Blackvue expects most people to use the iThing/Android app, and makes it a bit painful for everybody else. :-(

Ya I figured it out, my wifi was not on my wifi at home but the wifi on the camera. after changing it to the correct wifi that resolved it.

And the app on android i was going to

1. Login to the BlackVue app.

2. Select BLACKVUE CLOUD.

3. Go to Camera settings > Firmware settings > that's where i got this issue
