G1WH-Unknown menu item-firmware G1WH-DA380-2014.11.28.03

Hi all,

I have just recently received a new G1WH dashcam which is using firmware G1WH-DA380-2014.11.28.03.
Can anyone answer a question regarding a unknown menu item appearing in the setup menus?
The menu item reads:
'Licence No set'
Within this it is possible to enter an 8 character word/number entering letters A-Z and numbers 0-9.
At first I thought it was to enter your vehicles licence plate number, but if I do, it does not appear on the display when in record/still photo mode. I cannot see a reason for this menu item!
This menu item appears on the video and still photo modes only. When I enter Eg. ABC123, nothing appears to happen. What is this for?

Yes it's to enter your license number or whatever else you want, you may find your other OSD display choices dictate whether this is shown or not

I have just recently ...
... but if I do, it does not appear on the display when in record/still photo mode...

I have FW version G1WH-DA380-150424V01 and if I enter my car license number, it shows only on recorded file, not on the cardvr display both recording and play mode selected.

Hi not too sure on my version on my G1WH think its one of the first ones as I've had it around 4 years now, is there anyway this camera can take a 64gb card and if so what new firmware will it need if any.
