Hello everyone,
I just received and mounted my new SG9665GC! I spent a little extra to get the 64gb card, and ended up with a Samsung EVO card, so I am very happy about that.
I have a question about mounting the GPS unit. I've read up on this unit quite a bit, so am familiar with the older dash units being flipped, the new short-cord windshield units, etc. However, is it important how the GPS unit is oriented when mounted to the windshield? In other words, obviously the tape sticks to the glass, but does it matter if it is turned so the cord comes out in any particular direction (12 o'clock, 6 o'clock, or any other particular rotation)? I have never seen this mentioned, so I doubt it matters, but thought I'd better ask...
Very impressed so far; can't wait to see how it does on the road and at night!
Take care,
Regan
