Hi all,

I'm looking for my first dashcam and I'm on a budget, probably more like USD100 (although less is always welcome).

It doesn't have to be the best image quality, but needs to have Wifi, so that it can be managed via app on iOS.

GPS logging also required.

Auto start on car start, but preferably it will record a little bit after I turn off the car.

I came across the XPlore C1 and variants, but not sure if there are better options. It seemed to tick my boxes.

Not sure if they've revised it yet but that model has had heat issues
Thanks for the heads up. I live in Malaysia, so although it is humid and reasonably hot, heat never seems to be extreme. High 20s or low 30s celsius (or 80s Fahrenheit) is common. I don't intend on using it for long periods.

If that's a must-have requirement, then strike out all dashcams with capacitors. They stop recording immediately after the power is turned off. Cameras with battery usually record for at least 10 secs after the power is cut and some brands even give you the option of choosing longer shut down delays.
