dose or can anyone tell how mucth data would be used if permentley connected to the hotspot
whilst ignition is live on your car

So far the cloud functionality is only limited to updating location.

I did a tcpdump on the traffic and I can see location update packets being sent every 10 seconds : up aprox 1400 bytes and down 260 bytes, so upstream traffic about 0.5 Mbytes / hour and downstream traffic of about 0.1 Mbytes per hour.
