@Jeremy Wong, do you happen to know and download the original stock firmware from the camera itself?
I flashed with latest version V-1.01.017 from http://www.xiaoyi.com/dash/firmware/download/yicarcam6.html

The US language is missing only left CN, my version is Chinese version as well like yours.

Can try asking in xiaoyi forum for the previous fw version?

Another I think can think of is email xiaoyi and asked them.

Mine from V-1.01.004 to V-1.01.017:

My last firmware version was 1.00.037 when I first reviewed the King Edition. I haven't updated since that version.

Maybe this week, I'll take it out and update and see. Thinking about doing a comparison with the Mijia dashcam though.
