Hi all -- I've been looking to get a dashcam for my father as a Christmas gift. I'm most interested in something with a good parking mode, because his car seems to turn into a magnet for damage while he's not in it (probably due to him living and parking in a dense urban area).
I've been eying the Thinkware F770. The problem I have is that he is not a tech person at all, so whatever I get him has to have minimal maintenance -- he just needs something that's essentially "fire and forget". The F770 seems to provide way more than he actually needs and it's expensive, but its parking mode is exactly what I'm looking for. Any ideas, or am I basically looking for something that doesn't exist yet?
