Thanks , I now have an apple one that does not work , and a wioboy with iUSB app. That works for one video then locks up. Now that’s with iPad and iPhone.maybe when you get yours it will work great?

Tested playing and copying videos with my iPhone (12.1) and iPad (12.0.1), no issues with either playing or transferring more than one video (one by one or multi select).

If you have a wioboy,you have to use iUSB pro app.

I’m pleased to report that my new Transcend RDA2 lightning connector reads my SD cards perfectly and allows me to play back mp4 files straight from the card onto both my iPad Air2 and my iPhone XR both running iOS 12.1.1

Hey, I tried using this card reader (https://www.amazon.com/gp/B074DVC5BV) and it is not showing any dashcam videos from my SD card. Im using it with an iphone SE (11.2.5). Do you have any idea as to what my problem could be? I tried using a different SD with my GoPro videos and those were able to work, just having trouble with my cards with dashcam videos and I tried to different ones so far and neither worked.

Try restarting the phone if you haven't already. It's a card reader, should read any SD card regardless of the content.

I have one of those, and it wouldn’t work with my SD cards and iPhone either. The problem is it’s using the iPhone to read the cards, unlike the Transcend unit (in the previous posts) which uses an app to do the same.
The app works flawlessly with my files.

Videos start loading as soon as you open the app and select the iUSB tab.

I normally play videos straight off the SD card, doesn't lag.

You can copy photos and videos both to and from phone and computer.

Exactly, I use the Transcend unit to copy to the iPhone, then the idrive to copyfrom phone to computer.

Both the Transcend RDA2 and iDiskk are available from Amazon

Hey, I did some testing with another SD card reader and I found what you said to be correct. The first device (https://www.amazon.com/gp/B074DVC5BV) that wasn't working did not use an app to read the card.
I bought this one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/B0716B88WZ) which uses the iUSB Pro app to read the card and it has worked well with my dashcam SD card so far.

Glad you got it sorted Andy, the device you have is very similar to the iDiskk device I have, and I find it extremely useful.
