what I want to achieve:
I need a dash cam for one of the following events:
* a car crash in which I have to prove that the other car was in the wrong.
for example in a case I wasn’t moving and it was the other driver that hit me.

* the fu*cking police.
in my country, the police get their money by lying.
they stop you on the road and say that you didn’t stop at a stop sign or was talking on the phone while driving.
for this I need a camera that is pointing at me (the driver’s seat) as this is the only way to prove the police man wrong and that I was not talking on my mobile phone while driving.

so the requirements are:
  • dual lens. (explanation/reasons above) or some kind of other solution to suit the above needs.
  • audio recording, because it’s important to hear the police man lying.
  • because I want it as a black box and want to mount and forget it (these are standard for dash cams these days):
  • recording to start automatically on car power up, and shutdown and power off
  • cycled recording (when the memory card is full, it should overwrite previous files automatically)

what I don’t need:
  • I don’t need a GPS
  • it doesn’t really have to HD as long as the night vision is not completely useless

what I've tried:
i1000-f70 http://dashcamtalk.com/i1000-f70/
but I’m getting “freezes/corrupted files” as described here and here

I have bought dash cams via internet but most were all faulty so I am a little afraid of buying an expensive camera because they keep being faulty !
I buy from eBay because I know I have an option there to send it back and get a refund.
by the way they do sell the same cams in stores in my country but at double the price. so that's not gonna happen.

I have links to specific dash cams I'm considering but am I allowed to post direct links to eBay items ? someone said it's ok so...
here are a few that seems to be suitable according to their specifications:

Similar to here, so I would imagine you would need a small one. If they spot the camera here they will just take it. You mention a single will do the job and you don't want to spend a lot. In the low price range the starting point is the G1W, which may be too big for your location. The Mobius is tiny and I think would be perfect to hide. It's a quality camera with great video and a good microphone. You would have to be sure to mount the camera close to your door to hear outside conversations. Unless all the windows were open, many cameras would have trouble hearing outside conversation, especially from the rear window. One in the front window and one on the rear window facing forward would be an inexpensive solution for both video and sound. With two singles, both would be in HD. Also consider keeping an extra audio recorder, maybe on your phone, nearby to record the conversation. You can get the device closer to make sure you hear everything.

thanks but size doesn't matter.
it doesn't matter if the police spots the camera or not. they only lie, they are not violent and if they DO spot a camera they won't break it off.
as mentioned, the requirement is to video both me and the road while driving so I believe a dual lens camera is a must.

Most dual lens dashcams are no good.
2x Mobius is my best recommendation. Both of the can be discretely mounted: one for front rec and other rec inside car, which you can turn to the sides if needed. Mobius proven to be reliable with good video quality.

never the less, I edited my original post with dvr cams I'm considering , can anyone please share their experience if they own any of the mentioned ?
thanks

No offense intended but these cams are all rubbish, same results as the cam you already had

Same here,
Same answer as in my post #5

Yes, you can get so called dual-lens ( I would say 2 channel ) dashcameras, but good ones starting from 250usd ( no display ) and up. Best ones are in the region of 350-400 usd.
As mentioned: best practical solution for you is to go with 2 x Mobius, - it going to set you about 160usd / pair.
Or, 1 Mobius for front camera and second ( facing inside car ), you can buy 50 usd cheap ( but good ) chinese one with IR leds in case need to record at night.

I would also favour 2x single cams (Mobius would be my personal choice) over anything you've linked to so far.
However if your budget is lower and 1080p is not a requirement, you could go with 2x 808#16 V3 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/180937263580Listing may say V2 but it is a V3 with auto start/stop added so it can function like a Mobius. $88 USD for 2.
