DR550GW-2CH with 128GB MicroSDXC

Hi, I don't have the DR550GW-2CH but I will buy soon.

The DR550GW-2CH official supports to 32 GB. 64GB works fine... 128GB would work? Have someone idea?

There is only on MicroSD card with this size.. SanDisk MicroSDXC Ultra UHS-I Class 1 128GB,,

You are right that it works on 64gb but you have to format it in fat32.

So it should work on 128gb on fat32,

Somebody will come along and correct me if I am wrong.

Are you looking to install the custom 1.2 firmware?

Yep i know.. 32kb cluster.

I don't know difference between original and custom firmware. not yed..

Remember that the "Ultra" range from sandisk only has 10mb/s write speed - which is not really fast enough for decent recording, and certainly not fast enough for increasing the bitrate through the custom firmware.... although the custom firmware is very buggy at the moment anyway!

So as Saj said, yes it probably will work, but I'm not sure the speed of the card will be up for giving trouble-free recording.

Using our Consumer Testing Platform, we measured transfer speeds from the SanDisk Ultra microSDXC 128GB with IOMeter. Its sequential activity was measured at 44.66MB/s and 14.29MB/s for read and write, respectively, and random large-block performance was found to be 43.98MB/s and 2.45MB/s for read and write, respectively. Both read values were higher than those reported by SanDisk; the company doesn't disclose expected write speeds other than to say they'll be slower than the read performance.

In theory it should be ok in practicial its not.

I would avoid Ultra if you are going to install the custom firmware and up the bit rates. I did exact this last week and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

If you sticking to the blackvue firmware, then the ultra is fine, which I use the 64gb sandisk ultra.

plus remember, the 15 is not guaranteed, it is only a guaranteed minimum of 10mb/s. :|
I would be worried that it would not be fast enough.
