New Need help please. DR400G-HD2

Hi all, I am hoping to try and find a fix before attempting a replacement on my DR400-HD2. It has been a pain since I bought it now it wont turn on at all. I have tried it in three cars and still nothing. I am trying to find out if it is more cord or the actual camera. I do not use park mode and I do not leave the camera in car when parked not in use. Are there any issues that occur with these and is there a fix before seeking replacement(if I can replace) if I cannot replace would like to know if there is a way to actually fix it.

I love the speed feature(main reason) I bought this unit as I couldnt find another with the speed at the time.
