How to battery power for 8 hours

One additional thing I wanted to mention about the Chinese battery bank from Amazon is safety. When I bought it I was concerned that the circuitry could be flakey when it came to auto-shut off when disconnected or when charging, over-charge, overload, short circuit protection, etc. So far the thing has performed flawlessly. After I bought the battery pack I didn't mention it here on DCT until I had been using it for at least 6 weeks and felt confident recommending it. Of course, this doesn't mean it can't croak on me tomorrow, but so far so good......enough to order another.

I have a DVR207. I drive a bus but there is no power socket that I can plug into. I drive a different vehicle everyday so I cannot modify a vehicle.

Any suggestions for a very portable, discrete battery or power supply that can give me 8 hours of power? I was wondering about those portable power packs used to recharge a cellular phone.

Has anybody done anything like this and what are my options? If any.
