Common function of the Ambarella chipsets, can't recall any Novatek based products that have this though, not sure but it may not even be a supported function

not sure about the mount (probably the same but someone else will need to confirm), the hardwire kit is the same, the rear camera cable will need to be changed though, that's not compatible, uses a different format

not that you want to be watching much on a small screen like that, but it does allow us to have the file repair function which is an important feature I feel

that's how that camera works, it's not normal for all cameras to work like that but quite a lot of no name ones in particular do work exactly the same

I've seen other forums where they've tried to filter first time posts (which depending on the platform can be hard to do on a selective basis, not sure about xenforo) which has ended up having an overall negative effect on how things work, forums work best when there's lots of participation...
