    Audi in a hurry

Or here's a novel idea, leave earlier. Was even before the morning rush in that area of the city. Before that he would speed up to get no where.

    Something a little differnet

It turned out ok in the end. If you watch closely the dog was in the blue car and jumped out the driver's window. We have a Puggle. Sometimes the Beagle come out, she drops her brain and runs. For that reason we keep her on leash all the time. The problem that comes wtih that is that when...

    So this happened......

BMbler: I agree. I couldn't find him, but at that time of night, unfamiliar woods and foggy weather and night time, I wasn't going to look anywhere other than the road and ditch. $4000 to fix the damage he caused though.

    So this happened......

KamKar1: He ran into the front fender, rubbed down the side of the car and bounced off the rear fender where it flares out. Gibson99: There is a small almost unnoticeable dent on the front fender and one that is much more noticeable on the rear fender. Nothing serious. We were stopped long...

    Close Call

This road people often are trying to figure out which lane they need to be in. Down farther there is a large building being built and the left lane is closed creating a bottle neck. I'm thinking he was going tot he left to get ahead of traffic and realized he wasn't going to go anywhere and...

    Close Call

This is from my drive to work this morning. At the beginning there is a traffic stop by our local police. The area of the stop is 50 kph but people often drive 70-80 kph. Not the best place for the driver to stop for sure. Also at about 50 seconds in I almost get dinged by a van.

Couple of videos from the last few days

The first one is a guy driving with his foot on the brake. At one point he is pulling away from me as I'm accelerating, but he still has his foot on the brake. The second is 2 red light runners at a busy intersection. This intersection is one at a major bridge (behind me) and people are...

    SUV Runs a Red Light

This is one of those streets that is one way and the lights are timed. If you hit the first one right, you can go to the end without stopping. During busier days you could be in a pack of cars driving 65kph in a 50 zone.

    SUV Runs a Red Light

This could have turned out bad. Light morning traffic on my way to work helped. Usually traffic is a bit heavier but running much faster than I was driving. This guy's lucky day.

    Another close call

Lighted intersection close to home. Not sure why he waited so long, he had lots of time to get through the intersection before I got there.

How do I make files longer than the 1 minute default?

I do 2 things. I carry extra cards so if something critical happens I'm able to replace the card with another one that has the same settings file. I am able to protect the evidence this way. Secondly I use the manual record button for things that I can safely reach up and hit the button...

Hardwire to dome light instead of fuse panel?

Also the dome light's contant power wire wouldn't be in the roof where the light is, it would be at the switch that activates the light. The wires leading into the light would not be powered until the switch is closed.

    Download files from phone?

The settings file resides on the card. You can make the changes through the viewer software when the card is in your computer. Another option that some are using is to have the camera powered all the time through a battery pack. You would have to go our and activate the wifi on the camera but...

    Download files from phone?

The x350 is a good camera. My wife has it in her car. I wouldn't discount it because you want to plug it in. You could take your laptop out to the car and pull the card. The other option is to have a second or third card. I do this so if there is something that happens I pull the card and...
