In Stock! INNOVV K2 DUAL Channel 1080P/1080P Motorcycle Cameras, WiFi, GPS, SONY Exmor Sensors, Waterproof, Alluminium DVR Housing

I compared the raw videos submitted here with my K1's recordings. Definitely looks better, especially the rear. No car tags visible in the K2 videos, but street signs are much clearer with the K2 than the K1.. However, considering that I have to strip all the lower fairings from my K1600 to...

What is the issue with looping? As long as the time and date is ok, I don't see why they wouldn't accept the video as evidence.

INNOVV K2 (DUAL Channel) 1080P/1080P Motorcycle Camera, WiFi, GPS, SONY Exmor Sensors, Waterproof, CNC Aluminium Camera Mount and DVR Housing.

Found a few K2 videos online.. OK, but I'd say my K1 shows a bit more fine detail (and noise). Not good enough to be an upgrade for me, but if the K1 ever dies, then the K2 will be a candidate for it's replacement.

Don't see anything about: 1. Button to save a segment like the K1 has. 2. Microphone? In the main unit under the seat, or none?

OCDTronic.com & Amazon Store for North America (VIOFO, GitUp, GuardTrak, INNOVV, & More)

I have an A119S with GPS, and one of it's big advantages for me is that I can dismount it in a half second. I wish they had made A129 rear camera connect to the GPS mount as well, instead of plugging directly into the front camera, where it will have to be unplugged and reconnected every time...

The K2 GPS module is small enough that it could have been combined with a save event button on the top cover. This way, it could be mounted in an accessible spot, and pressed if the rider wants to protect a the last several minutes of recording from being overwritten.

This suggests the camera hole in the hole is considerably oversized. Why not just make it so it's a snug slip fit with the clamp screw loose, and secure when the screw is tightened. It doesn't seem right to pay for all that precision machining, only to make up for a poor fit with a rubber layer.

Here's a video comparing the K1 rear camera with the C5.. To me, the C5 looks a bit worse, and the K1's rear quality is worse than it's front view.

Frankly, I prefer the plastic C-clip mounts that came with the C3, at least for the front camera, which will mount in front of my oil cooler. Smaller, less likely to disturb airflow. The aluminum mount might better for the rear though. Also, I don't see any option for a save segment button...

Question: If you have the GPS module connected, can the K2 keep the time and date set from the GPS? My K1 loses time and date.

I have the K1, and I had to make an extension to the clip to hold the connectors in and steady: Made from acrylic plastic, glued to the clip, painted. Works perfectly. Fortunately, my Sargent seat has a storage box on the bottom, which, after some mods, made a perfect place to mount the K1...

    K1 microphone questions

The question was answered early in the thread.. The mic audio is digitized in the camera and combined with the video data, so there is no analog audio in the cable. The only option I can see is to either add a more sensitive mic in the camera housing, and a hole to let the sound in to it, or...

    K1 microphone questions

Won't work for me, since I have the front camera mounted upside-down. The mounting pad is stuck to the "top"

    K1 microphone questions

No new testing so far. The sound is good enough to get the engine noises, and I don't need much more.

    K1 microphone questions

I just finished drilling a hole in the rear cover (6.7mm) as close to the mic as possible, and glued a patch of very thin glove rubber over it. I just took it out for a test drive, and oddly, it's barely louder than without the hole. I still have to run max volume in windows media player to...

    K1 microphone questions

Does the front camera microphone (the active one) have it's own set of wires in the cable, or is the audio encoded with the video before it's sent from the camera? If the analog mic output is sent back on a separate wire, would it be possible to add a Y-connector accessory the camera 1...

K1 video quality worse than C3..

Thanks. I suppose it's sufficient for dash cam use, but one big problem is that it won't resolve plate numbers unless you're right on top of them. I suppose I could have installed a second C3 for the rear view, but I also wanted the screen for faster configuration and time setting, which is a...

K1 video quality worse than C3..

I've moved from a C3 to a K1 on my bike. Some initial ride videos suggest the video quality from the K1 is MUCH lower than I got from the C3. The C3 generated files with a bit rate of about 20 Kbps. The K1, even with it's much wider field of view (more data in), produces only 10 Kbps front...

    Capacitor for K1S

Battery question: I tried connecting a 1F capacitor across the +/- terminals in the recorder. It did not charge. I also tried measuring the battery voltage - nothing. Does the battery interface require some kind of handshake between the recorder and the battery's protection circuit before...

    Clock reset. What powers it?

I checked the CR2032 again today. 3.0V. I'll probably replace it once a year just in case. One not about this setup: Do NOT press the power button on the camera with no external power, It will try to start up with whatever voltage remains on the caps, and will drain them completely...
