Have you had a look at this ? Seems to have a cutoff range starting at 12.5V. - I ordered one and will give it a go. UK supplier.

My User Manual for the DR650GW-2CH says Max 4.8W. So for a nominal voltage of 12V this equals 0.4A.

I went for the DR650GW-2CH due to its form factor, but also because it was available in a "local" trusted webshop.
