unfortunately, (althrough there is linux_mode switch for USB), when you plug-in OTG cable into USB port, nothing is detected by the system, so USB host seems to be disabled by firmware / missing drivers. thus, sadly, you won't be able to do that. And you can bet i'd LOVE to see THAT.

It DOES work. If you want time-sync your cameras, you just need to launch this shell command ntpd -q -m -p your.ntp.host.IP -q : quit after host clock is set -m : don't daemonize (runs in forward) -p : peer address After that just do sleep 1 & trigger SOMEHOW the shutter. it COULD sync...

actually... the script is still working, my whole problem was just too weak wifi signal for camera to catch in. So just make sure your wifi signal strength is sufficient enough :)

I am trying to get it working again, they changed some background stuff so it is not working anymore... cross your fingers :(

the wifi script does not work with latest versions :( no idea why (yet)

what firmware version is it? show me your .conf

use this script (it does not need you to enable wifi) and use my C&C to configure wifi on boot parameter

use my C&C to get live video, web server in the cam is practically useless

@elitecam: well, since i abandonned the kivy idea (because it is simply PIA to work with it and @luckylz gladly took over app development for android), there is not much ui to do, since Tkinter i'm using can't do much more than it does with C&C. Maybe reposition some buttons etc...

What about sticking the memory card in the card reader?

Well, unless my ISP fails (i work for my ISP as a sysadmin :D ), the electricity (got UPSes) or the HW (disks in RAID, second server available, almost ready to do the job), then it won't happen :)

jagger: as i said, 1.2.10 nor 1.2.6 can work with client mode. Yet. I will try to update scripts, no idea when (hopefully soon)

@uchix: That's VERY GOOD piece of work !!! Is it permanent? IE does it stay there even after reboot when you remove this script ?
