Here's my take: if he wasn't speeding in a 40 Km/h street in the first place, he would've been able to stop safely and there would've been no need whatsoever to "save" his, his kid or my day.
Here's the thing about that Audi and who drives it: that car is a used import (1998 car with 2006 portuguese plates), which means it was sold and registered new in the country of origin, then it was imported to Portugal 8 years after that with the original plates and registered here like a "new"...
I know and I keep thinking about how useful it'd be if one day things don't go so "well" but the car is a work car (Opel Astra G 2.0 Dti Caravan) and I'm struggling to find a place where I can install a camera without being in the way everytime I need to access the booth. If it was simple I'd...
Hahaha, no doubt it's better to laugh about it than to have homicidal feelings towards the moron.
Don't worry, if that was to happen it would be just another piece of imported junk to go back to the junkyard. I'd feel bad for the kid in the back, though.
If it was a 850 GLT, which I believe it was because gasoline is cheap in the US, then it's factory turbocharged. They just upgraded (and outgraded) the turbo. :giggle:
Those things were beasts, they came from the factory with 210hp.
I've heard great things about Da Vinci Resolve. Even about the free version. I'm gonna give it a try because if I have to switch to Win 10 due to the end of Win 7 support in January 2020, I can't use Movie Maker anymore (it doesn't work on Win 10).
Yeah but planes don't have to deal with other planes merging into their flight path, cutting each other off, braking in front of them or running "red lights". ;)
If it's only 10 or 15 mins that you need you can use continuous recording. Just remember that once the card reach the limit for a single file it won't store any more files.
Again, that's not a set rule, it depends on so many variables that we can't even say it's "recommended". I hardly ever format mine and I empty it every day but unlike many people, I only filled it up and let it overwrite old files twice. Maybe when a card has to constantly overwrite old files it...
I have a 32GB CL10 Kingston that's been used as the working card in 3 different cameras and as a testing card (formatted more often than in normal use) in 3 other cameras. I bought it in March 2015 (4 years due in 2 months), I record an average of 10-12GB a day and it doesn't show any signs of...
But this forum is not about "you", it's about sharing your experiences/impressions/tests so that others can make their own choices. A dashcam's main function is to record good video and audio. The rest of the "gimmicks" are secondary for the majority of people.
Yeah, lots of "tricks" but for most potential buyers what really matters is the image quality and you have to agree that the information you provided on that isn't going to make anyone go buy one.
I drove less than what I usually do during these days but that wasn't a problem because the car has A/C. The worst part was there was no escaping the heat: even in the shades where I parked the car the air temperature was always above 40ºC (104ºF), especially on Saturday, August 4th. Here are...
It doesn't do us much good when the playa has also temperatures between 35 and 40ºC.
At around 7PM I left Torres Novas to go to a nearby town. Here, the car was indicating 41,5ºC, when I arrived there it was indicating 45ºC! At 7PM! o_O
