Hyped Reviews on the X2 Pro

Ok; it will be interesting to compare the older Mobius ( 1080p30 ), with those settings on the X2. Will also set up the VAVA @30fps, and compare that as well. Just kind of dissappointed... my Mobius cams are 4+ years old, and I would have thought that video quality would be making big steps up.

Hyped Reviews on the X2 Pro

I purchased a Street Guardian SGGCX2PRO Cam from Amazon ($199), a few weeks ago, based on the Claim here at Dashcamtalk, that it is one of the "Best Cameras Available Today", with such good Video Quality! Total BullHockey! I mounted the X2 on the opposite side of my review mirror, of a newly...

Vicovation Marcus 4- Techmoans Video Review

more like a long infomercial, but a lot of information, so thank you for that. The three, GT680W's purchased back in January have all suffered chronic battery failure, and further demise resulting from firmware upgrades.. so I was considering either the Marcus 4, or the Street Guardian SG9665GC...

Could someone please send me the link for the firmware for the pre-December IIs which Jokiin mentioned just came out a few days ago, and allows narrowing the field of view? Thank you!

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

reverend; I'll take a quick look at it this weekend after I do the permanent install of the GTX. If I don't see anything obvious, I'll just send it to you, with best wishes. I'll let you know so that you can pm your address.

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

Thank you... you have always provided Superior Customer Support. The Dash Cam bought from Ebay is the one that shows the lens defect. That was purchased more than a year ago, so I will write that one off. (literally, as a business expense). The unit I bought from you had the bad GPS logger...

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

First, I never stated that the more naturals colors the GT680W produces is important for me. Like you, I need a higher level of Detail, specifically for reading License Plate #'s, since I bust North Carolina Cops for Speeding on my youtube channel. The GT680W provides slightly better detail...

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

Thanks for your help and suggestions. Can you tell me where to find this newest firmware that is only a few days old? I have not found it in the forum. Thank you!

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

That is all fine and good, but not just bad gps modules, but one out of two Cams gone bad... see this video at 0:14 seconds, you will see what looks like a wire hanging in front of the lens, but the lens is perfectly clean:

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

I'm using GLG300_V1_12_06_20140421_15Mbps, ... is there something more current? I did not see it posted.

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

That's good to know, I will update my one working unit and check the results. Of course, the fact still remains that the GT680W is producing some very nice video, at least equal to the Panorama IIs, for a lot less money. With that in mind, it is not a fair placement for the Panorama to be in the...

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

... sorry, thought you were asking what version in the GT680W, the Panorama cams have the most recent, and the 15kbps version. And not withstanding the night tests to come, I'm pretty sure the better image detail from the GT680W is due that the lens is 140 degree, vs the 154 degree lens of...

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

v3.0G ...and oh yea, I see the mistake on youtube now. The text at the beginning is backwards, should read images for the GT680W are on the right, not left... my bad!

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

I have no idea what youtube mistake you are talking about? The photo you show in your first post, is before the +2 adjustment. After I made the adjustment, the exposure is more balanced, and the colors are more true than the Panorama IIs. I was all about the Panorama IIs just like a lot of...

Just Bought a GT680W ...and I Love it!

Been using my new GT680W for almost two weeks and I love it (relative to the cost). $99 for this cam, with the GPS module and it performs better than the two $225 Panorama IIs' that I have. Side note, I needed to adjust the EV (exposure value) to +2. The video was a bit dark and...

Panorama IIs no Longer my favored Cam... GT680W is a much better value

One of the two Panorama IIs Dash Cams I purchased had been nothing but problems. Had several bad GPS modules, and now, I have an aberration on one of the lenses. (looks like a wire hanging in from of it on the right side, but nothing there). So, I ordered a Shadow GT680W from foxoffer a few...
