I may be wrong but I believe the 15fps was for when the device was in 'Parking mode'. Best thing to do is do a short drive with 30fps and one with 15fps. Compare them and see if there is any issues with the reduced frame rate.

Yes it is Custom. I have been running the Custom FW for a long time and have never encountered a video like this. I must admit it's cool but not very reliable if something happens and I need to rely on footage :D

I think it only looks bad as I have a plush toy sat on there at the moment. I increased the brightness on the BV to stop 3 (was on stop 1) So I think that has helped.

First Compare Second Compare (cropped and pointing up a notch on both cameras) audio in both videos is from the Mini 0805

BlackVue Mini 0805 I happen to think in the above example the Mini 0805 produces a better quality image than the BlackVue.

My camera was purchased in December 2014 so works with the custom FW.
