Update - I changed back to 264 still with max resolution and zero overheating issues. Not ideal but way way better than before. Vehicle was outside for 6 hours on a day when temp reached 100 F.

This is akin to saying diets are all marketing BS ... everyone is eventually going to die anyway, so what's the point If you use ceramic, your interior will heat up less quickly than a non tinted vehicle ... after X hours, sure, the ceramic tinted interior will get very hot but the non tinted...

Add me to the list of disappointed Upgraded a few 650s to 900s and now frequently get the overheating warning (even though all my vehicles have ceramic tint on all glass including windshields, etc) ... I no longer have the 650s so can't tell you for sure, but I do know that the 650s didn't...

So it seems like the only reason to u/g would be for supposedly better night time recording and faster wifi? Seems like consensus is day time footage is / will be the same as the 650S?

I was able to put 1.004 on it with no (apparent) issues and managed to find 1.005 as well - I was having issues where 1.006 wouldn't exit parking mode correctly and was giving me tons of notifications

Suspension much be really really stiff or horrible roads - I set my events to 20 and don't get flooded with events. Set it to 5.

How often do you drive the vehicle? I wouldn't set it to 11.8/infinity myself, as I wouldn't want to run the risk of it non starting.

Anyone here using Blackvue over the cloud? Doesn't seem like many people are using it. I love getting notifications when my car is being moved since it is parked in a staffed garage during the day time.

Finally had time to troubleshoot - it's something with how the app works with 10.3 and newer, as I used a device on 10.2.1 with no issues at all So stay on 10.2.1 for now if you want everything working correctly

Anyone else seeing this issue? Blackvue C notifications are no longer pushed to either notification center or the lock screen under iOS 10.2.1 on a iPhone 7 Used to work fine a few weeks/months ago so cannot tell if it is due to the iOS upgrade or Blackvue app upgrade

I only saw this issue once, I just restarted my phone and didn't happen again ... maybe try off a different device?

Running Blackvue cloud feature Notifications still appear when I log into the actual app and look under notifications but notifications are no longer being pushed to the iPhone either on the notification center or lock screen I believe it's either the recent iOS or Blackvue app that broke this...
