It's quite often the case, that something is changed in the code of the new update by xiaomi. I didn't try my old scripts with 1.12.12 (my enable 2k-script isn't necessary anymore). Got anybody experience with scripts and the latest version?

yes. you got it. I tried it and it works really good. for video preview you need to install VLC-player. I use Media Player Classic, so I don't know how good video preview is, but overall the tool makes a very good impression to me!

I remember that people bricked their camera, when updating their firmware with exFAT formatted cards. Maybe there's a difference between OTA-update and manual update or was it just a bug in an early firmware? Has anybody informations about this?

Hmmm, an 8GB card shouldn't be the problem, unless it is damaged... how did you update last time or is it the first time?

I think your battery is too low. Plug a power bank in or load your battery. I had this once, too. If your battery got under 40% power, it simply doesn't flash. Let me know, if it worked.

Thats cool. I adjusted the preview modes to 1MBIT and CBR and increased time lapse video bitrate (1080p 24fps) to 35MBIT instead of 10MBIT. Does anybody know how to change the video mode for time lapse video? the best out of 3 modes is 1080p 24fps. 25fps would be better for us european...

Official firmware 1.2.12 just released (no beta!). 2k is now - as expected - officially part of our yi! I really hope the bitrate can still be adjusted easily. I can't test it, since the offical xiaomi source isn't updatet yet, so I don't have the bin-files...
