Got an 0805 and fitted it yesterday, having trial-fitted it to both the 0805 and 0806 mount. Because of where I wanted to mount it, and the arrangement of the USB sockets on the mounts, I've gone with the 0806 mount and it seems to be working well (y)

Hi all, Been a while since i was here :) I've not replaced my 0806 since it bricked, but am now looking to replace it. I was wondering if I can use the other 08 cameras (especially the 0805) with the 0806 mount, or will I need the whole setup? Thanks!

That's very kind, but it's more than two years old, so I think it is no longer in warranty?

I have just tried with a data cable for Samsung Galaxy A3. Hold the UP button, then plug cable in. Blue and red LEDs come on. Camera screen stays blank. Nothing appears in Device Manager on the PC.
