the EVO+ dont work, i had the same exact card, and ran into the same parking mode problem. the newer EVO PLUS, and the Amazon rebranded EVO SELECT will work.

what SDcard are you using? i think that matters. i used Samsung EVO+ previously, and parking mode didnt work for me, after i switch to newer Samsung Evo Select, the parking mode worked without issues.

will need more time to tell if other issue will arise because of the 512gb..

further update : swapped out the samsung evo+ 128gb for a samsung select 512gb (which is supposed to be the same as samsung evo plus), and the parking mode records properly now.

yup... timelapse is still better than impact then record.. didnt expect the A800 to offer only G-sensor trigger and nothing else.

it may not work even with the official hardwire kit. mine is wired up properly with the hardwire kit, says it will enter parking mode when i switch off my engine, and i can turn it on manually after engine is off, but regardless of what impact i put on the car or windscreen when its it parking...

bought a GPS repeater, and got the GPS/ADAS to work. will likely buy a battery to power the cam 24/7, and forget about the parking mode.

i tried to move the camera further up, away from the tint, and got the GPS and ADAS to work momentarily when i drove my car out this morning, it didnt work again, so the GPS function is really spotty.

yes it did, but my DR750LW-2CH uses an external GPS module, which i placed it near the top of windscreen which is not covered by my VKOOL tint. so i dont know if the VKOOL tint does block out GPS signal. but i never had any issues with GPS on my mobile phone which are mounted on my dashboard...

I'm pretty sure I got the right fuses as my previous BlackVue setup using the same set of fuse are working properly. I just swapped out the BlackVue hardwire kit with 70mai ones. For the GPS, I'll try to verify if it's the windshield causing problem by running the dashcam outside the car...
