    4-Cam System?

Heh, I like how the name of their cameras are DPT-CYA-4000A and DPT-CYA-4000C. (CYA being a common shorthand for "Cover Your A**")

Newbie: Need small battery operated dashcam

I'm not sure about battery operated cameras but I wanted to provide a distinction that might be helpful. Most dashcams don't have to be hardwired at all. Hardwiring is just to make everything more seamless and hidden in the vehicle. Most dashcamera's come with a cord to plug into the...

What is the current multi-channel state-of-the-art?

The Koonlung K1S would meet your criteria for 1080p 30fps with both cameras being remote. The Blackvue dr650gw-2ch would be another choice however the front camera is not remote but it's pretty discrete.

Map, Dash and Graph not working in Dashcam Viewer.

Check to make sure that the timezone offset setting on the camera is matching the setting in the viewer preferences. Also make sure that the first file you load into the viewer has GPS data from the beginning. If the viewer doesn't see the GPS data from the start, it doesn't show anything in...

SUV tries to make the light, collides with left turner

I have not installed the foam pad but that's a good idea. I'll dig out the box and do that. That, a firmware update, and the CPL filter I just ordered will make for a nice few mini upgrades.

Saw this rear-ender on Lake Shore Drive yesterday

Unfortunately there's no shoulder on either side of this road so they just stopped in the left lane checked the damage there. This really screws up traffic so hopefully they exited shortly after to exchange info. P.S. My rear camera has the wrong date set on it but I've been too lazy to fix it.

Mobius support thread and Tech Guide (post all problems/help requests here) Read posts #1-8 first

Hi guys, this is probably a long shot but I figured I'd ask :) Is it possible to have the mobius boot to "video mode 1"/"video mode 2" based on the current time of day? For example, I'd like to configure video mode 1 to be optimized for daytime driving and video mode 2 optimized for nighttime...

Where did you mount the camera? Post your pictures

Same thing I posted over in the "Mobius mounting solutions" thread: When the Mobius arrived, I was surprised at how small and light it was. I guess I expected it to be at least a little bigger. For this reason (and because I had a bunch laying around) I decided to use Command Dual Lock strips...

Guy keeps stoping at lights before they even turn yellow

I'm guessing he's looking at the crosswalk countdown timer (which I do as well). When the crosswalk counter gets down to zero, most lights change over to yellow. Also you are correct, the first light has a red light camera on it. However it seemed like he had ample time regardless. Even I...

Guy keeps stoping at lights before they even turn yellow

You know, it's a great feeling when you're driving along and you know you're going to make the next light. It's a horrible feeling when the person in front of you stops before the light has even turned yellow.
