Yes, I like this implementation. Keep it on if you want it to be on, or keep it off until you need it.
I wasn’t able to get the voice commands working, not sure if you’re supposed to say an activation word or if it’s supposed to be always listening. Also, my parents will be sharing the car...
As the title states. Where is the option to enable the WiFi Access Point when the camera starts up? I don’t want to have to click & hold the WiFi button and restart the recording every time I start to drive. Thanks
Recently purchased a new car, so I need a new set of cameras. Still using my B1W, Aukey DR02, and Viofo A119 v1, all have been working perfectly fine. But I’d like to upgrade to a modern dashcam system.
Wants:
- 1440p, my 1080p cams are good quality for 1080p but there have been times where I...
I’m using the B1W-CarDVR app, using the default iOS Photos app to view downloaded videos. Can’t check using a different player, as my computer is busted atm. I can PM the raw file to them if needed.
Downloading the video from the camera to my iPhone using the app causes the video to be choppy. Here’s a video I downloaded on the 200707 FW: https://streamable.com/qxdmvv
Streaming video from the camera is also choppy, but i think that’s because it has to buffer, so i’m not too worried about...
Just caved and picked up a 32GB SD card from Best Buy. Cost me $30 and I have to find time to return it, but I finally got the firmware on the device updated.
And the exact issue is still present, even after a successful update. Videos downloaded from the app to my iPhone is still choppy. The...
Also tried with a 64GB card formatted to FAT32. This time it’s detected, but the camera ignores the file and just starts recording. I don’t understand, am I missing something? Nowhere in the website or instructions does it specific what type of SD card I need, do I need to force it into an...
Nope, didn’t work. Formatted a 1 GB SD card to FAT32, loaded the .bin file onto it, put it in the device, and it just kept repeating “SD card not found”. Then while I was trying to take it out, the combination of the horrible choice of power plug location, along with the spring loaded slot...
Thanks, but I feel like users should be notified there is an update to the firmware - maybe via the app or App Store changelog.
Are there instructions on how to install it?
Ever since the iOS 13 update was released, the app has an issue where if you try to save a video to your device, it’ll appear in the camera roll with perfectly fine audio, but the video will freeze and skip every few seconds. It makes the video unusable, and I end up having to use an old Android...
I am also having this issue. I noticed this while checking the files, so I synced my phone time to the camera, then drove off. It was fine for that stretch of drive. Then I parked and when it booted it up again, it reset to 9/1/15 00:00.
I bought my unit off Amazon a few months ago. I've only...
I don’t think so. I don’t think it’s an issue with the card either.
Just seems to be on first connection with the app, it stays stuck on the loading screen. Then when I close the app via the navbar (2 taps to exit) and then try to connect again, it connects fine. Other than that, no issues.
I thought I cleaned it well but I guess it wasn't enough. I'll have another go at it tomorrow I guess.
Does Home Depot sell any black ones? All I saw there were white ones lol.
Just got my B1W. However, the camera and the wire clips have all fallen off the windshield after an hour in all types of weather - hot, cold, overcast. I suspect it's due to the clear adhesive used, as from my experience, those tend to be very cheap. I've not had any issues with my Aukey camera...
The 70Mai is being sold for $40 on AliExpress at the moment. At that price point it's very tempting, but I want a cam with good video quality that'll last me years Would it be better to just cough up the extra money for the B1W?
