It says <OPEN---LOCK> on the case. Gripping both sides rotate the button that direction, while pulling out. You probably need to massage and finagle it while pulling. Just wanted to report my dashcam died today, serial KMHK 12030773 firmware 6.8 T2L-KH. I bought this unit from Amazon seller DealKings in end of Feb so it lasted 5 months.
