Dashmellow, Have you checked for aperture vignetting with your CPL? Hard black circle cutoff is obvious. Loss of full aperture and light loss in the corners is not as noticeable.

You can take a pic with just about any camera, phone, webcam, and slide the CPL in front of the lens. Snap a picture with and without. Check the pic data.

One manufacturer will obviously talk bad about everyone ease's product :) 1/2 stop would be exceptional. Two stops or more would be for blue sky darkening shots, or a poorly made CPL. Try it with your camera and see what the exposure difference is. Is there a better thread to discuss this...

The exposure calculation seems to accurately handle putting a CPL, with about 2/3 to 3/4 stop light loss in front of a bare open lens. Someplace?? I have some ND filters to try.

Tony, How about an experiment with the 6-22mm lens ? :) Photo mode, pointed at an evenly illuminated scene (sky? ) take a pic at wide, medium, and tele zoom. Report what the EXIF data reports as shutter speed and ISO. Maybe even a couple other lenses for comparison.

Mine has been working great. Set it for video 1080/30 (US version) and all settings stay. Time does reset with battery change (unless I'm really fast) USB power while changing battery might keep the time alive. Just checked, USB charge with battery change keeps time set. I normally use car...
