thanks! Yeah, bad potholes indeed! But something like uploading to the cloud when a parking mode event occurs could be useful and would eliminate the pothole issue. Also, wouldn't the cloud just overwrite when it fills up in the same way as the SD card overwrites when it fills up?

Been using/testing the Blackvue Cloud app. It has some quirks, but for the most part works ok. Does anyone know if there's a way to have the Blackvue auto-upload files to the cloud, say, upon an event? Right now it seems like there are 3 options: 1) Live view 2) View a pre-recorded video...

It is greyed out because you have "Cloud" turned on. Under the firmware settings, turn off Cloud (if you're not using it) and then those WiFi options will be available. The reason for this is the Cloud needs WiFi always on, so if you switch on Cloud, BV assumes your WiFi needs to always be on.

Yeah, probably won't use it often, but I like the v1 firmware most of the time and will use the v2 when I travel (for cloud access), so I'll switch occasionally and won't need to pull the sdcard. There is a way to download them to your PC - have you seen this site...
