I'm in the same thinking to replace my front dash cam with a Viofo a129 pro duo. and want to enable parking mode on it. I was looking at the celllink neo but do I need the hardwire kit? can i just run the cam off the cellink?

this will sound like a silly question but can you use wire up the vico power plus like a cellink B? as in not hardwire it but connect it to a male 12v socket? Looking at ways to not tape into the cars wiring.

thanks MTZ. that winycam link seems to be an older version if going by the name which is corresponding to the date. Wiycame is 140111 looks to be 2011 and the one on Livue is from 130613. Unless im totally wrong

hi, i found this camera stored away in my garage and am going to use it as a rear camera i want to update the firmware but the site has a broken link to the latest firmware. does anyone have a working link anymore? thanks

What is the temp before this unit fails to turn on?

i just installed this model in my car and today it was parked outside in 26c degrees on a sunny day and the unit got very hot and failed to start. i dont get this issue with the livue 100

when i go to view my videos i see two folders with video in it. Event and Movie Both have the same recordings but some of the clips in Movie cut out and start again missing 20 seconds of video however the clips in Event folder show them but the file sizes are smaller is this normal?

i just bought this camera and was wondering if anyone has modified the power cable to have a USB connection at the 12+v end?
