How do multiple (2) dash cams work? How do you save the clip?

The dual cameras I have used save the file as xxxxxA and xxxxxB for front and back. Like others have said making a mental note and going back is the only other way to go for the most part if using two separate cameras. Also make sure the time is set right and in sync on both cameras or it can...

Lightning Deal Mini 0906 Dual Dash Cam @Amazon US Ended.

Seems like a good deal. Wish I had the extra money to try them out. I see it is %30 gone already. It's good to see more people are buying cameras.

    How to connect battery pack

While I did mention how to get around this. I agree with Dashmellow's post. I would either not not use a battery pack and use the hardwire kit to a use in the car and go right to the camera and if you wanted it for parking wire it to any always on fuse. or use something like a Vico Power Plus

Do you leave LED screen on?

Depending on the weather conditions in your area this might be an issue. On hot days I have had some cameras stop working while parked up because they got so hot they turned off. My first JooVuu X even got so hot it ruined a Micro SD card. so leaving the screen on would make this happen more...

    How to connect battery pack

I agree I have a few myself and never spent that much. If I am reading this correctly you mean you want to connect the power pack right to your car's battery? I would maybe buy a DashCam hardwire kit wire it to a spot in the fuse box and run it to the battery pack.

    Review: Vantrue® N2 Pro Dual 1080p DashCam - NT96660-OV4689/Sony IMX323 Infrared, Time Lapse

Thanks for posting. I'm not a fan of being on camera myself so i'll try to set mine up how you have yours to catch some of the mirror. I also noticed my camera is on firmware VTN2Pro76.v1 and the website lists VTN2Pro7H.V1 I'm going to update and see if that does anything for me. Can be found...

    Review: Vantrue® N2 Pro Dual 1080p DashCam - NT96660-OV4689/Sony IMX323 Infrared, Time Lapse

I meant quality. Mine seem to have some issues to the left side of the video. Especially at night. One of my clips looks like this, and then the next one after looks fine seems like it might have trouble adjusting to light.

Dual Cam With Medium Budget And USB Power

The Vico Opia 2 is a very nice camera one of my favorites it is usually right below my mirror. I took the 3M stick pad took the stick off and applied 3M Dual Lock Tape to the mount now I get a great hold, but can take the whole thing down if I need to. I'll try to remember to take a picture...

Dual Cam With Medium Budget And USB Power

That's good. My front cam does not look horrible, but it's a little lower then I expected. Other users videos look good though. I think over all for someone in your situation it is going to be the best one to go for, and if you are not impressed with the front camera that will give you a good...

    Review: Vantrue® N2 Pro Dual 1080p DashCam - NT96660-OV4689/Sony IMX323 Infrared, Time Lapse

Looking forward to seeing your front videos as mine seem a little lower then I would like at least in my Camaro. I think this makes a good Uber driver camera. Unfortunately the rear lens can not be turned all the way around. However when it comes to normal commute drivers this camera would also...

Dual Cam With Medium Budget And USB Power

I have been looking at the Vantrue N2 Pro while I need to do a little more front camera testing (The image quality of my front cam seems a little lower then the videos on Amazon) The rear cam looks really good. I think this would make for a great Uber driver camera. It comes in at 200, and I...

    Cigar power constant or switch?

My Camaro is always on, and this is what I do. I always figured more footage is better then not enough footage. However kamkar1 does make a good point. You might want to look into a camera with a pre-buffered parking mode because cameras that use a parking mode based only on motion detection...

    Cool Kickstarted Dreamcade Replay

I have run into this issue myself. I have an Acer Aspire Switch 10 that I have been hoping to switch over to Linux, but the webcam is not supported. Question on posting video

This is what I do. Yeah that might be a little too big to be uploaded directly to the site. If you mean to YouTube you can cut it down with a program like Registrator Viewer or DashCam Viewer I have also used a program called VideoPad to join my front and rear camera footage into one video...

    Cool Kickstarted Dreamcade Replay

I hope this is okay to post. I have been getting into retro gaming recently. I've been using a Raspberry Pi 3 a bit, but about a week or so ago I came across the Dreamcade Replay. I probly should have posted it sooner since it only has about 62 hours to go, but in case anyone wants to take a...

Just be aware that most users stay away from cameras with lower end chipsets that do not truly record in 1080P. (Like the Novatek NT96220FG) that are found in some of the cheaper cameras.
