I have my SG9665GC behind the rearview mirror, thus I rarely even see it running. Should the REC led be flashing while recording? It caught my attention the other day.

I recall being told every so often to reformat the sd-card but I forget. I rarely download or remove the card. I think I've got a 32Gb or a 64Gb in there now. Advice?

Hi Dave et al I'm a beta tester for Uniden scanners and my call is WB2EQE. I have a BCD536HP scanner in my '16 Acura RDX and use an NMO roof mount antenna. I'm running the GC V3 for the past 2 months and have not noticed any RFI nor spurs throughout the bands. -doc

I received 2 256gb class 10 cards today I picked up on eBay for $12.39 each incl shipping. Came with sd card adapter and USB adapter. No name brand on them whatsoever.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I wasn't using the AV out. I removed the card, put it in my reader and used the Registrator Viewer program. The pulsing was only evident looking at the heads-up display leds as shown in the SG's video

Today was the first day since installing it that I viewed some of the videos. I have an after-market heads-up display on the dash. It's interesting to see it flashing in the video. I guess that the pulsing is the difference between the SG's fps and the display's pulses, though it appears steady...

I picked up a couple of 256Gb Class 10 cards. I put one in the V3 unit and clicked Format. After I confirmed, it said to wait. I was prepared to however it gave no further indication of formatting and went back to the menu. I set it to record, removed it and was able to pull video and data...
