Is it possible to add auto-off in 10 seconds for Git2? My Git1 has this but Git2 does it in 1 min.
The reason behind this is because 3 of my Git2 capacitor no longer hold any charges. If the camera reset its date and the camera will show it's recording BUT in reality, it is not. So I will have...
I am also using Git1 and Git2 as dash cam however; there are few things to note.
Pros.
1) Wide variety of mount and case available for car, motorcycle and bike because it's the same dimension as GoPro 3, 3+ and 4
2) Good video quality during day and night time
3) Reasonably price if you know...
What is the require voltage and amp for Git2 to record and charge? I have two Git2 that will slowly looses the battery life while recording and charging. I've tried different cables, batteries and power supplies.
The issue is when the cable is unplugged or power supply is off (switching off the...
There are no response for two weeks. Anyone experiencing the same issue? Might be a good idea for people with bad capacitor to test their unit. As bad capacitor is a common issue for Git1 and Git2, this will be a major problem going forward. I usually glance at the unit when I start my car or...
So my Git2's capacitor is not holding any charge and whenever I remove the battery then the date will reset it back to 01/01/2017. This is fine as I can just charge the battery via the mini-USB or I remove the date in the setting. The issue is when the date is reset; when i record video with the...
If you apply/stick it to the mount then the mount would also needs to be cleaned the same way you cleaned the window. The 3m tape is a lot better then any suction cup. All I suggest is get a stronger tape or park in a shadow.

So I have been using Git2 as a dash cam for years. I usually format the card once in a while however earlier this morning, a piece of metal flew up and hit my car. I immediately used the short cut button to 'lock' the file. When i stopped and looked at the file, there was nothing in there. The...
I am using my Git2 as a dashcam on my MT-07. It's also a chin mount but with GoPro's helmet mount. The video does look a lot wider and things are further away. I actually had an incident where a car changed into my lane and in the video, it looks like the car is very far away but in reality...
Right. I felt that it's a review because it isn't released and everyone is eager for one (including me). I think this unit is a tester unit too? If a normal person coming in and see such stunning photos then he maybe mislead.

I would have to disagree with that. This shows what you can do and not the cam. Most dslr reviews wouldn't have edited the photos when doing review. If this is a photo album rather than review then that makes sense.

What you are saying doesn't make sense. What do you mean "it's live all the time"?
Your truck's cig plugs are powered (on) all the time. If you are manually turning on the camera then there is something wrong. Normal dash cam should automatically powered on when it detects power (or a setting...
