Rear camera STUCK in the mount - BRAND NEW PACKAGING.

No trick. It "clicks" in place. To remove, simply pull it in the direction of the cable connector, away from the lens. Who did you purchase the camera from?

How do I remove my old mount?

This might get a little messy, but if you spray WD40 on the adhesive, (do this on a cool windshield in the shade or in your garage,) and let it sit a bit. The WD40 will dissolve the adhesive and makes the mount removal easy. But, as said, it might get a little messy, so be prepare to have to...

    Overheating still an issue?

I have a DR900S and yes, they do get hot. I live in Florida so I can relate to the heat issue. Though my camera never actually overheated, I solved the problem with a heat sink such as this one. https://www.ebay.com/c/521108480

    DR900S-2CH WIFI Keeps Turnning Off?

How many WiFi connections do you have configured on your camera? Myself, I have two; one for the house and the other for a mobile hotspot.

    DR900S-2CH WIFI Keeps Turnning Off?

How are you connecting the camera to the WiFi? The camera itself does not act as a mobile hotspot, so it has to connect to a device that will give you cloud access. You do have "Direct WiFi" connection between your smartphone and the camera, when the both are within range of each other, but...

    Before I buy a DR900S-2CH

I use the BlacVue App and have had no problems with it at all. Mind you, I don't use it on a constant basis, but when in use, no issues.

Would a battery maintainer or trickle charger help keep battery voltage stable?

Yes, this is exactly what I use. My daily commute to work is only about 11 minutes to and from. This doesn't allow my battery to fully charge each day, so every day when I return from work I connect it to a charger. I use the NOCO Genius and find it works well. The only thing is, you have to...

DR900S-2CH Will Not Retain Date Or Time

I purchased this camera from The DashCam Store. I have been in contact with one of their technicians, Matthew, who confirmed what you just said about the RTC battery. I am going to send it back to them for inspection / repair. I am just paying for the shipping and they are not going to charge...

DR900S-2CH Will Not Retain Date Or Time

Since the last firmware update, (1.012,) I have noticed that I have to reset the date and time every day after shutting the camera off the previous day. I never had this problem before the firmware update. I have set the time to sync with the GPS, and though the GPS is working, (as far as...

    Looking for recommendations

A little pricey, but you may want to consider the BlackVue DR900S-2CH. I have three dashcams, all BlackVue, and this is one of them. The only catch is, though the front cam will record in 4K, unless you have a PC and editing software of handling 4K, you need to switch the record settings to...

Suggestions where to mount camera for minimal vibrations (big stereo issues)

Common sense dictates that you turn your stereo down. Not only will it reduce your "vibration" issue but it will also make you less than a target by other drivers, including law enforcement, (some areas have noise ordinances) of being an annoying, immature inconsiderate asshole. Besides that...

Date and Time way out after changing to 256Gb card

Try reloading the firmware. I had a similar issue on one of my cameras and this resolved the issue. Keep in mind, after re-installing the firmware, you will need to reset your time.
