I see the same issue sometimes. To me it appears as if the cam after a new start is taking quite long to (re-)establish a good GPS fix.

My mounting procedure video for the Viofo A229 Duo inside a Mazda MX-5 roadster (German language). I'm using a larger paper clip as basis for the rear cam, tightened to the wind deflector using a wooden wedge.

Just installed the A229 Duo and observed the pumping effect a well on FW 1.1 It seems to appear especially on turning with high bit rates (e.g. trees in picture). Just upgraded to FW 1.2 and will check if situation improves.

Black dots should be of no issue, but some windshields with heat protection (metallic vapor layer) may cause them.

I'm on a Mac so I can't use the Mini's Video app. Therefore I wrote myself a software to convert the log data into GPX format and then use the Garmin VIRB app to render it with the video files.

Thanks, it takes me around 4 minutes until I get the GPS fix, would assume this is normal. G-Force reading are last three values of a row. For a car parking on even ground I would appreciate on 2 axis to read zeros or something close at least, right?
