Hi, After looking into this in more depth back in 2016 we did get told by a BlackVue dealer in Bangkok that this colour issue was ‘normal’. They explained it as being infra-red! Not that I believe it is real info-red but it is still working today so we left it at that.

Hello again, PROBLEM FIXED! This is to update you on progress. Since the launch of BlackVue’s app for IOS v 3.16 last week, the problem has now been solved! I can use my iPhone 8+ for viewing captured files and live view... Regards

Hi, Pulling my hair out on this one! I have a DR650gw 2ch and DR650s 2ch. My problem is the same with both dash cams. Using my iPhone 8+ (IOS 14.1) I can connect to the dash cams wi-fi but via the BlackVue app, I cannot access live view or saved video clips. I just get a constant spinning...

Hello jokiin, Ok, I think I understand... There is no seperate 'mechanical' IR filter or any software setting to enable/disable an electronic version in the settings. Are you saying this odd colour is 'normal' for this rear cam during daytime? That is not how Pittisoft ad's show the Blackvue...
