A note on the BT Button, take into consideration for placement to change the battery you twist the base. It (on mine anyway) does not take much to twist it. So if you have it located where it can get brushed against it may twist open. Avoid areas that cables or cords dangle or lay.

Purchase direct from Viofo for savings if you can wait longer for shipping.

I've had mine for a few months on the original battery and it's still good. To pair up with the cam you hold it on till you get the blue light. Happens pretty fast.

Geeese. In a dsh cam application its not adjustable as much as its correctable. There is only one correct way to run it and its to cancel dash reflections, not adjust for light amount. But its a free country.

My review took up the maximum allowed text characters 999, so I will continue reporting in replies. I have been experimenting with WDR and when asking around no ones seems to have a definitive answer as to when to or not to enable it. I have found running WDR at night increases visible noise...

I run them all the time front and rear. My car can be one of the worst for dash reflections front and rear. The exposure effect on the Starvis sensor is for the most part unnoticeable.

Added a video (to the bottom of the OP) to demo the rear cam through 20% tint with +1/3 exposure. And I found a rainbow in the top left corner that may be from factory polarizing, the tint or the CPF. I'll rotate it and swap it with the front to see if the rainbow follows and post this week.

Proclips USA are the phone mounts. A touch pricy but if you keep your vehicles for a while and if you swap phones you just get the holder and swap it out on the mount. I have been running them for years, Spoiled. Yes R3, ALP is a must. Its so good I fear Radar IO more then the dragon.
