Hi, I put these details in the videos YouTube description but, of course, you don't see that as I embedded the video! :) The Mini 0801 was recording at 1080p and the Mini 0803 at 1296p, with WDR switched on. Mini 0803 firmware: 20140510V1.

We haven't seen much Mini 0803 footage so far, and no footage in comparison to the Mini 0801, so we put this short video together. Featuring day, evening and night time footage. Be sure to watch at the highest quality possible. We'd be interested to hear everyone's thoughts. :)

Thanks for the feedback Dannnyh! Yes, it's good to know that there's a means of contacting other drivers if it's absolutely necessary. The Mobius is a great choice for a dashcam. :)

Just as a follow-up to this, we eventually managed to get all the damaged paid for thanks to the video evidence. Over £400 worth in the end. :) There's more detail about how in our 'A Car Camera Success Story' blog if anyone's interested.

They didn't mention how they were considering implementing it but I'm sure they wouldn't include any features that were detrimental to the overall performance of the camera. I think it's positive to see manufacturers thinking about ways that they can develop dashcams beyond improved image...

The manufacturer I spoke to earlier mentioned that they were considering adding it along with some other functions that they didn't specify.

We've been speaking to the manufacturer about the Mini 0803 today and apparently they're considering whether to include a lane departure warning system! That would be a great feature.

That's a good question fieldofview and, to be honest, I'm not sure exactly how much movement is needed to trigger the camera. In this case, it was a busy car park so there was lots of activity either from people walking past or from vehicles passing the front of the car.

Hopefully it won't come to that Jimbo. While we have spoken to the police, we're currently waiting to hear from the DVLA so we can contact him directly and see if he wants to come to a more amicable resolution.
