just a quick update about the parking mode audio noise, I find it's related to GPS module, when I park underground (or anywhere without GPS signal) the time lapse audio is quiet, but when there is GPS signal I get the loud bee noise

I think class 10 will work fine. In fact the seller from Aliexpress (I think my seller is directly related to skyhigh electronics which is the manufacture of 0807) send me the cam with a kingston class 10 SD card in the bundle

I understand the fact that there is a micro USB port on the GPS base, but unfortunately I can only assume that's only for power delivery to the camera itself unless you can find a way to deliver 12V power to the micro USB port that's why I say better try the OBDII before calling the GPS base bad...
