From what, I read, Alex stopped working on Blackvue's for it wasn't worth his time so the 1ch camera doesn't get it. We now just need to wait to see if Blackvue actually releases a 10mbps firmware.

I had the same problem and only noticed it after putting in a 64gb card. I swapped that out for my original 32gb card and it resolved the problem.

What version firmware are you on? Have you updated to the latest?

12v is fine for an Accord. I have it set for my Maxima and it's been fine for over a year and I keep my car parked for a week to two weeks at a time. Take a photo of for DIP switches for us and upload it. Something doesn't sound right.

Nice video. I only sprayed the silver camera holder and the chrome lens ring and used Plasti Dip. It's easy to redo if you screw up. :) That Chrome lens ring pops off easy with a finger nail if you are careful enough.

If it is switching off/on while driving, I would check the grounding wire on the PMP. It sounds like it doesn't have a good ground.

Odd. I did it over the weekend and was successful. I made the SSID "blackvue" and gave an eight character password. Is the phone able to see the dashcam?

Mine does that too. I think you had the window cracked open and between the air/wind sound and the speakers, the mic gets overwhelmed. Mine crackles a bit when I leave from a dead stop for I have performance engine mount bushings which slightly vibrate the car.

At this point, I would wipe one of the cards completely, stick it into the camera while blank, and press the button on the right side to format it and have the camera transfer it's firmware to it. Then pull it out and try going the config's renaming trick to english to see if it helps.

Are you doing this in the car or on a power supply in your house? I heard of people getting weird results by formatting/upgrading on home power supplies that don't have enough amperage.

I think I have seen it in Home Depot. I saw a rack where the whole rack was 3m products. I am assuming you are talking about that ultra heavy duty stuff they use for EZ Passes for the windshield. It's a beast of a velcro type product.

the laser (lidar) beam is so narrow that the officer needs to look through a scope (like a hunting rifle) to pick off the cars. I think the beam is only 5ft wide at a distance of 1000ft.

In the retail packaging, you have one tape pad already preinstalled on the mount where you just peel off the red protective cover and stick it to the windshield/windscreen. The packaging also contains an extra pad in case you ever want to remount it at a later time.

While Jokiin's camera looks promising, I don't think it's being released anytime soon. Even Jokiin doesn't have a loose release timeframe for it.

I have this card and it seems like it's designed for the conditions it will see in my car.

I think the US can have a year of the dashcam once insurance companies start realizing the effectiveness of them and start giving discounts.
