I realise it's old ... Once a cam is bricked, - using a SD card to "update" or recover won't work, and the cam needs to be put into recovery mode Recovery software "USUALLY" requires a windows PC, even Mac emulation doesn't work. ALSO you will require the correct firmware .elf file...

I realize this is old 3 possible reasons 1. is the 120 option greyed out ? ... If greyed out - SD card too slow <---- most likely Try your friends SD card 2. Firmware is different and doesn't have 120 fps 3. It's fake and really H9se 4. Not enough light

Aug 2019 Now Eken H9R advertised 20mp pics and don't even offer 4mp as the lowest resolution

Not a suitable option in my opinion- DNG is only available as JPG+DNG... and there's a delay taking pics, causing slight blur, (my opinion is the priority in auto mode is not correct)(iso/exposure/speed) and no sign of any more updates... it might work if connected to a gimble

Check that your SD card is fast enough I've come across problems that went away with better quality SD card I assume less buffering - just a thought

try Eken FB page (not the usergroup) You MUST use the correct firmware - NOT just the newest / highest number you MUST use the same version as your current one ... READ the instructions on the page
