Part of me is thinking that the cams will be just the camera itself and the recording box will be in the Electric Vehicle? Similar to blackvue box. Maybe because of the huge batteries in EV's it is easier to have parking mode etc?

gees, the dash cam market will grow by approx 5 times what it is now, in 7 years. 1.9 billion divided by $300 per dashcam... is 6.3 million dashcam owners. Hmm, thought there would be more than that. Is my math right? If so, there are a few billion nutcases who are driving around without a dash...

Interesting about apple engineer and imagine if apple or samsung, spent a few mill of that 1.62 billion developing there own dash cam.. I wonder how many dash cam owners are in the world..lol :oops:

Interesting that the A229 plus seems to be the worst performer here. As i said in my previous comment the A139 really holds its own here (Maybe due to software?) The Mini2 also impresses. The A229pro is the best, but so it should be for the price.

VERY interesting stuff.... The Mini2 stands out here...may just be the cam position too.

Big thanks to @Panzer Platform for these videos and taking the time to do it. I am really impressed with the sound quality of the A139...wow. Obviously, the newer cams vid quality is better, judging by the still pics, but still the A139 almost keeps up with them.

I like having a screen for the following reasons... 1. My old but still working DOD dashcam has no screen...the app does not work anymore and I cannot format the damn thing without a screen. 2. If I do not have my phone I can format if needed. 3. Instant feedback if needed. 4. Nice to take a...

May as well put a sticker on your windshield saying "Smash window, Take my highly visible dash cam" At least the AI will capture the thief with his hoody and dark glasses and balaclava on.

I agree, After the pathetic and cowardly way the cops (Not all) but most... have conducted themselves over the past 4 years, they don't deserve anything, but hopefully these asswipes in the corvette get what they deserve.
