HDR will be added on A119

I'm in no hurry , but usually when something is announced an estimated time of release is given. Smoke a doobie and let's wait on it together.

A119 V2 Not recording, yellow caution symbol

The G-Sensor was set to high.... and yes there were files in the RO folder. Thanks for the help.. it appears the loose gps mount was causing the G-sensor to trigger when I go over bumps... I will try putting it on low or disabled.

A119 V2 Not recording, yellow caution symbol

Hmm.. I will try that but I wasn't using the G-sensor for anything that I was aware of. (I'm not using motion detection)

A119 V2 Not recording, yellow caution symbol

I noticed my A119 V2 kept turning on from the screen saver and displaying a yellow caution symbol in the top left corner... it still flashes red like it's recording but when I check the SD card the camera no longer records past the point when the yellow icon pops up. What could be causing this?

Power failing to camera when using GPS mount

Best bet is to stop throwing money at these defective cams. I bought two of them + cpl filters and they both came with defective mounts... I've tried getting replacements but they always require you to send back the entire unit along with all accessories, then wait 2-3 weeks for replacement...

    Thinking about getting an A119

PM sent. thanks EDIT: Viofo replied back with the same exact offer SpyTec gave me.. (uninstall everything and wait 2-3 weeks for a replacement) No thanks... last time I removed my dash cam the very next day a woman pulled out in front of me and claimed it was my fault. I had to battle her...

    Thinking about getting an A119

They agreed to replace them... just not reasonably. They requested I send them back pre-paid at my cost with ALL accessories (that means removing my hardwire install) , then wait an estimated 2-3 weeks for replacement units to be shipped..they said they could not guarantee or pre-test the...

    Thinking about getting an A119

It wont matter what SD card you got if you end up with a defective unit. I purchased two A119 units and they were both defective. I got stuck with them too, the seller ( SpyTec ) refused to reasonably replace the units

Hidden GPS logging when set to off

the connector is NOT rated for 10,000 insertions...both of mine were defective right out of the box brand new causing rebooting and flickering... I've seen dozens of others saying the same thing.

Hidden GPS logging when set to off

This could be fixed in a firmware update... however some people think its "not a problem" Personally I think @viofo owes us a new firmware update to disable it.

    Purchase A119 Advice

That's true.. I have had the USB connection wear out over time from repeated reconnects. Eventually it will cause the cam to reboot if it becomes loose enough. The rebooting can then lead to corrupted files and firmware
