Eh, for the record the Lexar 300x and 633x is only a few dollar difference and you can get over twice the read/transfer speed.

Didn't consider doing that; personally, I wouldn't want to come close to touching the sensor in my car. I placed mine on the left side of the sensor (Driver Side) and a bit further down because of the small black tint on the windshield. Will provide a picture later.

I would think that maybe the foam will push the pins further apart for V1. V1 contact strip are a bit deeper than V2's. Might cause more disconnects if anything.

I completely agree with you there. I got my first A119S from them, and the support really sucked. I purchased the new A119S (v2) from OCD Tronic via Amazon and I haven't had any issues thus far. Returning V1 for a full refund to Amazon this week.

I think it's a pretty good solution, for the contact at least. It looks like the connection on the GPS side retracts into itself once it's connected to the camera. So it is constantly pushing onto the camera connection bars. Also it seems that the connection bars is a bit raised on the camera...
