    128GB thinkware sd card

I find I'm repeating myself on this thread for over a year now with reference to an acceptable micro SD card. I have well documented the cards I have and still use virtually on a daily basis, I alternate the two cards just to maintain historic information of my last journeys, WHY ?, we come...

    128GB thinkware sd card

You do get a 'Thinkware' 32gb with the F800, if you trace back on this and other threads you will note the experience of several F800 owners and the trouble some have encountered, I opted for a Sandisk and have been problem free. A good choice you've made for the F800 and a great dash cam. J.

    128GB thinkware sd card

OK I use a 128gb card to record full journeys that may include situations (Not incidents as such), INSTANCE.. I drove up the M1 in the UK through the night, having cleared a stretch of 50mph restriction roadworks, within 1/2 a mile there were men and machinery in two lanes clearing barriers...

    128GB thinkware sd card

I have 128Gb in the F800 and also a second one the cab, we do a couple of very lengthy journeys and I replace one with the other so there's little danger of an overwrite, also keep the 32Gb to hand for what they cost now. J.

    128GB thinkware sd card

There are many references about formatting cards on this forum, but personally formatting in the device has worked for me. J.

    128GB thinkware sd card

If you consider that the F770 was not even rated as accepting the 128 gb card but many people including myself used a 128 gb card, mychoice is well documented as the Sandisk. J.

    128GB thinkware sd card

My use of the Sandisk 128 gb extends from originally using them in my F770 and then transferring their use on the F800 Pro, on the strength of that I doubt you will have a problem. J.

    128GB thinkware sd card

I am heartened to hear of confirmation that these cards have served others, as well as myself the on-going faultless recording of material and incidents that are of benefit to us that have invested in a dash cam to vindicate us of blame should there be an incident ............ on the other...

    Thinkwear F800 SD card selection

Speak as you find, I think if you research back over different cards used in the Thinkware Dash Cams, EVO appeared to be a bit hit and miss, I opted for the 128 gb Sandisk Extreme and based on the reliability and results I opted for a second one, as I mentioned previously to cover a...

    Thinkwear F800 SD card selection

The Sandisk 128gb Extreme works just fine, no issues, I first used them in my F770 and now in my F800 Pro, I use two of these cards to cover several lengthy journeys we make throughout the year, 128 gb cards were the subject of another still ongoing thread before the F800's hit the scene. J.

Interested in comments regard the F800 Pro updates........ UK Based.

Hello CK. Yes checked it out, as you remark 'Minor Issues' that statement from the manufacturer is open bracketed and may well be minor but not specific, as I said a very marked difference in the audio, now a very neutral accent, but now with exceptional clarity, the original was akin to...

    128GB thinkware sd card

Hello TBF. I agree it is difficult to read it with the dark background, anyways it's a Sandisk Extreme 128gb V30 and just to confirm I have now used these two cards for almost a year and they have performed faultlessly. J.

Interested in comments regard the F800 Pro updates........ UK Based.

I replaced my F770 with a F800 Pro in late November and accepted that updates would follow as and when, I finally got around to downloading the updated version and transferred it to my dash cam just this week-end, it's quite an update judging by the length of time it took, about 15/20 mins at...

    128GB thinkware sd card

It's been some time since I received notification this issue was still active, I see from several posts it still is. Despite confirming this SD card I see people are still experimenting with other cards, nothing wrong with that especially if you already have one to hand. I successfully used...

    F800pro update to f800 firmware

A little late to respond but I purchased the F800pro (UK) it replaced a F770. Only now have I got round to updating the files, not that I received any notification, it just that I expected it. I run 128gb cards without any problem, comments can be found by me and several other contributors...

The days of saying Sandisk cards aren't suited to dashcams are now over

Hello Gibson. No I don't have parking mode in use as the car I previously had the F770 fitted to are notorious for poor battery life and considering the auxiliary battery unit was not on the cards. I only transferred the system to our new motor which is gifted with two batteries just before...

    128GB SD Card issues

I've been using a 128gb card since March this year and they have never failed or shown error messages, either on short trips, in and out of the car, or long trips of continuous recording. You will note the card I'm using in one my responses on a previous page. Max.
