Push the button on the dash cam for a couple of seconds. The dash cam then powers down but the GPS mount stays on and generates enough heat to stop ice forming on that section of the windscreen. The mount only powers down when battery voltage dips below 12.4v.

My GPS module is always powered on even when the camera is off. This is causing a parasitic power drain that is preventing the car from carrying out a battery soc test as part of its battery monitoring process. Is there any way to switch off the GPS when the camera is off to allow this...

are there any motion clips around the same time? is it possible the rest of the footage has been saved to motion detection file somewhere? try using a different viewer thinkware dashcam viewer or registrator viewer are 2 but others are available.

for me, location tracking stopped with firmware version 1.03.07 although dashcam still says "connected to the internet" at the start of every journey

since upgrading to the latest version cloud location is not updating and live view within the app is not working tried a reset but still broken. any ideas on how to get this working?

it toggles between wifi mode and hotspot mode but once you have connected to the cloud it seems to default to hotspot mode rather than wifi

only a couple of things I would like changed 1. higher bitrate options when only 1 camera in use 2. impact notification in parking mode.

So are we thinking is it a heat related issue then?

i have the same issue not sure if it is a software issue, low bitrate or a hardware fault but for a premium camera I expected better

would you describe the picture quality as fuzzy/ blurry as that what I'm getting in sunny weather. seems to not be an issue in dull rainy weather

with the recent good weather, I have discovered the video becomes blurred when the camera gets hot. anyone else experienced this? as soon as the camera cools the vision returns to normal. is this a limitation of the camera or is it a fault?

what is the best firmware for panorama 2 with motion detection and good night view having rolled back to an earlier firmware from 1.15.01. could anybody provide a link to 1.15.02? any other firmwares anybody could recommend?

this also effects panorama 2 i had to roll back firmware to get motion detect to work

got off eBay so don't think i will be able to get updates from eBay. late 2013 unit purchased. always got firmware updates off this site. any help gratefully received

any newer firmwares after v1.15.01 as motion detect is not working on this version for me

as firmware v1.15.01 is compatible with all cams any chance you could post it. if not pm me a copy please

original bracket is glued in to the old car so carnt try that. i do have another mount i could try it in thanks for the suggestion.

its not the original its a cheap Chinese job could you recommend a good mount

as above my pan 2 has developed a cmos wobble whilst driving along. sometimes it like looking through jelly other times it just looks like a vibration making the picture blurry. has anybody else experienced this problem .if so is it fixable or is the camera toast
