Mobius suddenly acting screwy - solid blue light on startup

Hopefully - though I realised that my M1 gets a lot of use, but if it's toast, then I'd better ask those guys for a replacement my toy drone has half a chance of lifting!

Mobius suddenly acting screwy - solid blue light on startup

So after some progress (even one video recorded) - see above - I'm still experiencing freezing (both with and without cards installed). Either freezing blue, or freezing / shutdown with no LEDs or frozen at yellow (and the little LED frozen at red). I feel like I'm going in circles; I've tried...

Mobius suddenly acting screwy - solid blue light on startup

Actually, all remains not-well. I did get msetup running on Win 11, updated from 2.37 to 2.41, slapped the camera on the Roomba and...... Now the camera only records a short while then turns off (on either card) - need to check the memory card for videos once I get off work today.

Mobius suddenly acting screwy - solid blue light on startup

So I took at look at this and looke like somethig went wrong with the card. It seems ok with a different one formatted on *shudder* Windows. Now back to it's work of being a dashcam, helmet-cam etc - but first it's getting strapped to my Roomba 1. Dead battery: Nope, 4.19v on the meter 2...

Thanks, I'll work through that thread and see how I get on.

Mobius suddenly acting screwy - solid blue light on startup

I did verify it was working with new batt and card, and shot a couple of short videos. It was a long time ago, so unfortunately I don't remember how I formatted the card. I tried a 32GB samsung card and the issue persisted.

Mobius suddenly acting screwy - solid blue light on startup

Hi all, I have a long-serving Mobius that's not booting reliably. It's just hanging at a blue LED. Or, sometimes, a brief flash of the blue and three flashes of the red - then nothing - no leds. The Mobius has seen a lot of use, and taken a lot of whacks. It's been used as a ski camera...

    Aldi (UK) Voyager Dashcam 2018

Hi there, Aldi UK are currently doing a £50 dash cam for 2018, but I can't find any reviews. https://www.aldi.co.uk/1080p-dashboard-camera-/p/069859032077700 It looks sold out (or not yet released) online, but will be in store this week. Anyone got experience of this unit, or recognise it as...

    First dashcam(s) F and R maybe with GPS - £100ish budget - advice required.

Thanks all, particularly @viofo. I look forward to testing the proto 2chan setup. The pics look good. @SawMaster - cheers for taking the time to share your setup and opinions. I came in this forum looking for exactly that.

    First dashcam(s) F and R maybe with GPS - £100ish budget - advice required.

I agree on buy cheap, buy twice - I literally do it all the time!!! I have a (relatively cheap) Mobius v3 as an action cam but it is junk when compared with a (more expensive) modern gopro. To be honest, I've priced up a couple of 118/G1W-s/119s based systems and am getting a bit frustrated...

    First dashcam(s) F and R maybe with GPS - £100ish budget - advice required.

Cheers, the SG9663DC looks to be the nearest solution, both in form factor and ease of install. I don't know what price it will be, but as you say - probably out of budget. Looks like my budget system is taking shape. Cheapest option is looking like G1W-S up front (Amazon, about £50), G1W-HC...

    2cams or a 2chan setup - Under £100

Hi all, I'm after a twin cam or 2chan setup but limited by budget on most new kit. Have a rummage in your man-drawer (woman-draw also acceptable) and dust off those old cf-100 2chan units, 118s and anything else you think will fit the bill. GPS is desirable but I'm not bothered about...

    First dashcam(s) F and R maybe with GPS - £100ish budget - advice required.

Looks like I can afford dual cams as long as they are Chupad D501, A118 or A119(non-s) On 2chan systems - how about an older blackvue like the 430 2chan?

Dual cameras sharing the GPS unit

I still need to decide on the exact model. My budget is £100ish, so any dual cam system is pretty tight. I guess if GPS unit sharing is possible I'd look into buying units that would be compatible.

Dual cameras sharing the GPS unit

Hi there, I'm working out a dual hard-wired a118 / a119 camera install. To make things neat I'll fabricate an extension wire to house the GPS unit out the way. Could the GPS unit be attached to both cameras at the same time?

    First dashcam(s) F and R maybe with GPS - £100ish budget - advice required.

Thanks Phil, Very sensible sounding advice. Looks like a single a119s + GPS (and presumably + a separate card) will top out my budget. Maybe I'll have to lower my expectations, wait until the tech gets more affordable, or just get a single cam.

    First dashcam(s) F and R maybe with GPS - £100ish budget - advice required.

I'm about to take the plunge and buy my first dashcam(s). I am familiar with my vehicle's electrical systems and will be able to hardwire the cams and any GPS accessories easily. I'm quite confused by the various options and have 4 questions (see below). What I can summarise from my research...
