Amazon now has a sale on this Sandisk 128 GB card for $24. . It says Sandisk Ultra Micro SDXC UHS-1 - 100 MB/s U1 A1. Is that one of the ones recommended? I don't think it's MLC.
I've been waiting for the Transcend High Endurance card to drop in price, Right now the 64 GB is around $50. Maybe there'll be a sale around the holidays.
What card do you recommend? I know these cards have limited cycles, so I got a back-up, but fortunately haven't had to use it. It's also a Lexar, but called Lexar High Endurance (64 GB).
Got it. Thank you borik and Tractor. I am sure I have done it wrong a few times, even before today. I am still on my first card, a Lexar 633x, bought a year ago.
OK, I feel so stupid.
I know I have done that, and I have had this unit for a year so I know how to use it. But I followed your instruction and it worked! What can I say, but thanks!!!
When I plug the unit to USB, the <REC light comes on and the camera logo shows on the screen. When I hit the Menu button, I cannot get into the Menu screen like I used to. I have pressed <REC, but it only toggles between beeping and no-beeping. Still cannot go to the menu screen.
The only...
I got a Viofo A119 V2 about two months ago. I am still very happy with it. The modifications they made to it have solved all the problems I knew about and experienced. The upgrade I would look for in my next unit would be wifi capability and smart phone control.
Yesterday I got a new SD card, formatted it using the PC and started using it in the dashcam. It didn't record although there was no error message. I reformatted it today on the dashcam, and thus far it seems to record fine. Lessons learned" Always format using the dashcam, and always check the...
What are the generally recommended SD card brands for dashcam? When I bought my Lexar card (which still works fine), the two usual choices were Lexar and Transcend High Endurance, and I got Lexar because it was around half cheaper.
I bought a Viofo A119 about one week before the Roav was introduced. I would have considered the Roav for its wi-fi capability, which the A119 doesn't have.
Since you are using a newer model and few other people here have it, your best bet is probably to send your questions to Anker. In my interactions with them for other products, they are always very responsive.
They probably call it it "parking mode," and I suppose you can turn it off or on, and set the sensitivity to low, medium or high. Try setting it to off to see if the problem goes away.
This video
discusses the parking mode sensor at 12:35. Note that there is an "off" option in the...
I've seen reviews mention that the shock sensor is sensitive enough that it will respond when you just close the car door. It might take that as an accidental impact and start recording 30-second clips in case you need to review later. I think they are locked (labeled with a key) to avoid being...
Sheesh... The wording could have been more precise, but it's one thing to ask for clarification, and an entirely different thing to slam it as bad. And he poured on the hate because you included 4 pieces. Some people!
To me, the primary function of a dashcam is to capture information so you can review later in case of an event, and the more information captured, the better. Getting a "pretty" picture is a secondary concern. Most dashcams I have seen seem to compensate adequately for the amount of sky in the...
